Description
This awesome eel-like prehistoric looking fish can reach sizes between 15inches to 24 inches long depending on tank size.
These fish like to suck up substrate to shift for food so large gravel pieces can become a problem. Soft and fine sands and substrates are best.
They are omnivorous and prefer smaller foods such as flakes, small singing pellets and small algae wafers.
Mostly peaceful, they can get territorial during breeding and do have sharp teeth, but rarely attack other fish.
