Description
The Geophagus Jurupari, a.k.a Demon Earth Eater (Satanoperca jurupari) is found throughout much of the Amazon basin.
This fish can reach over 7 inches in size. Temp. should be kept between 74-82 F.
It is called an earth eater (also earth mover) as they will constantly pick up and move rocks along the bottom of your aquarium creating piles and pits throughout your substrate.
