Description
The figure 8 puffer is one of the few smaller pufferfish. These guys prefer to be housed in brackish water. Max size about 3inch. They tend to be aggressive towards other fish with longer fins such as guppy, angelfish, mollies, and others. Best to be kept in same species aquariums, 10gallons per each puffer is recommended.
Due to their ever growing teeth it is recommended you feed them shell fish such as clams, snails, etc in order for them to grind their teeth. They also benefit from snacks like bloodworms, live black worms, brine shrimp and meal worms(high in fats, be very limited)
