Description
The Black-barred Silver Dollar (Myloplus schomburgkii,) also known as the Disk tetra, Disk pacu, Black-ear pacu, Black-band myleus or Black-barred myleus.
A peaceful shoaling fish can be skittish in the aquarium. Does best in groups of at least 6, and juveniles require a 4ft tank, while adults should be kept in an aquarium size at least 6 x 2 x 2.
Until recently this fish had not been known to breed in the aquarium.
