Description
Melanotaenia rubrivittata is known only from the Wapoga River system in the vicinity of Siewa, former site of a Freeport Mining Company exploration camp.
Melanotaenia rubrivittata is most similar in appearance to Melanotaenia praecox, and is very similar in color with an added couple of stripes of red color throughout the body.
Simply stunning!
Max size of 2 inches, slightly bigger than their dwarf praecox counterparts.
